I’ll cover the differences in price, availability, watch case color, band color, band material, and sizing, as well as two important tips to help you decide which of the Fitbit Charge 4 colors is right for you.

The first of the Fitbit Charge 4 colors is black. The plastic resin case color is black and the band color is black. The classic band is made of a flexible, durable elastomer material and includes an aluminum buckle.
As with other Fitbits released in the past few years, you’ll get both a small and large size wristband in the box. (Note that you’ll only receive three band sections, not four, because you only need to replace one band section to change the size.)
The small size wristband should fit wrists 5.5″ to 7.1″ in circumference.
The large size wristband should fit wrists 7.1″ to 8.7″ in circumference.
The second of the Fitbit Charge 4 colors is rosewood. The plastic resin case color is rosewood and the band color is rosewood. The classic band is made of a flexible, durable elastomer material and includes an aluminum buckle.

This Fitbit Charge 4 color option is exclusive to Fitbit and Costco and can only be bought directly from Fitbit.com or Costco (i.e., you can’t buy this color from third party sellers like Amazon or Best Buy).

The Fitbit Charge 4 Special Edition color is granite. The plastic resin case color is black and the woven band color is granite reflective. The woven band is made of REPREVE® material (family of synthetic fibers containing recycled materials from plastic bottles) and includes an aluminum buckle and plastic lugs.
In addition to the woven band, this Fitbit Charge 4 Special Edition also includes a black colored classic band. The classic band is made of a flexible, durable elastomer material and includes an aluminum buckle.
Included in the box will be a small and large size woven band as well as a small and large size classic band. (Note that you’ll only receive six band sections, not eight, because you only need to replace one band section to change the size.)
The small size woven and classic wristbands should fit wrists 5.5″ to 7.1″ in circumference.
The large size woven and classic wristbands should fit wrists 7.1″ to 8.7″ in circumference.
My top two tips for helping you decide which of the four Fitbit Charge 4 colors is right for you have to do with pricing and watch case color.
Don’t buy a Fitbit Charge 4 before reading these two tips!
Pricing
The only reason to pay $20 more for a Special Edition is if you want the Special Edition band color. The Fitbit Charge 4 features are exactly the same as the Fitbit Charge 4 Special Edition features.
The Granite Reflective Woven Band is an exclusive band. You can’t buy this band separately, after the fact. You either get it with your initial purchase of the Fitbit Charge 4 Special Edition, or you don’t get it at all.
There are other woven band colors that you can purchase as an accessory, but you’ll pay $35 and you’ll have to choose between a small or large size.
So, if you want a woven band (in addition to a classic band), and you like the Granite color, I’d highly suggest buying a Fitbit Charge 4 Special Edition. You’ll save $15 and get both sizes of an exclusive band color.
Case Color
If you’re interested in getting additional accessory bands for your Fitbit Charge 4, you’ll want to make sure they will look good with the case color you have.
The Fitbit Charge 4 is available in two case colors: Black and Rosewood.
I suggest checking out the available Fitbit Charge 4 Bands and making sure the ones you’re interested in will look good with the case color of your initial Fitbit Charge 4 purchase.
I’ve included links above that will take you to the best places to buy each of the four specific Fitbit Charge 4 colors.
I’ve also noted above which of the Fitbit Charge 4 colors are exclusive to certain retailers.
In general though, the retailers I’ve listed below are some of the most reputable places (in the United States) to buy a Fitbit Charge 4.
