Fitbit Charge 4 Colors - How to Choose

My top two tips for helping you decide which of the four Fitbit Charge 4 colors is right for you have to do with pricing and watch case color.

Don’t buy a Fitbit Charge 4 before reading these two tips!

Pricing

The only reason to pay $20 more for a Special Edition is if you want the Special Edition band color. The Fitbit Charge 4 features are exactly the same as the Fitbit Charge 4 Special Edition features.

The Granite Reflective Woven Band is an exclusive band. You can’t buy this band separately, after the fact. You either get it with your initial purchase of the Fitbit Charge 4 Special Edition, or you don’t get it at all.

There are other woven band colors that you can purchase as an accessory, but you’ll pay $35 and you’ll have to choose between a small or large size.

So, if you want a woven band (in addition to a classic band), and you like the Granite color, I’d highly suggest buying a Fitbit Charge 4 Special Edition. You’ll save $15 and get both sizes of an exclusive band color.

Case Color

If you’re interested in getting additional accessory bands for your Fitbit Charge 4, you’ll want to make sure they will look good with the case color you have.

The Fitbit Charge 4 is available in two case colors: Black and Rosewood.

I suggest checking out the available Fitbit Charge 4 Bands and making sure the ones you’re interested in will look good with the case color of your initial Fitbit Charge 4 purchase.

Fitbit Charge 4 Colors - Where to Buy

I’ve included links above that will take you to the best places to buy each of the four specific Fitbit Charge 4 colors.

I’ve also noted above which of the Fitbit Charge 4 colors are exclusive to certain retailers.

In general though, the retailers I’ve listed below are some of the most reputable places (in the United States) to buy a Fitbit Charge 4.

  • Fitbit — It’s often a safe bet to purchase directly from the company that makes the product, and Fitbit is no exception. They also offer a 45 day money back guarantee. Plus, it’s the only retailer with all four Fitbit Charge 4 color options.
  • Amazon — If fast shipping is your priority, Amazon often can’t be beat. Just make sure your item says “Ships from and sold by Amazon.com” or a 3rd party seller that is reputable and has excellent ratings.
  • REI — I love buying electronics at REI because of their 90-day return policy and 10% member dividend. I even have the REI Mastercard and get an additional 5% member dividend. If you live near a store, in-store returns are a plus as well!
  • Costco — Costco also has a great return policy and they have a Fitbit Charge 4 bundle that comes with both a back band (small and large) and a blue band (small and large) for the same price as a single band would cost.
  • Best Buy — If the lowest price is what you’re after, Best Buy has a price match guarantee. I personally try to buy from one of the above retailers first, but if you’re a Best Buy Elite or Elite Plus member, buy a Fitbit Charge 4 from Best Buy.
  • Walmart — If you like fast shipping and the ability to return in-store, Walmart might be your best bet. If you make an online purchase, as with Amazon, just be careful you’re actually buying from Walmart or a reputable 3rd party seller.
