The small size wristband should fit wrists 5.5″ to 7.1″ in circumference.

My top four tips for helping you decide which of the five Fitbit Charge 3 colors is right for you have to do with Fitbit Pay, band material, band color, and case color.
Don’t buy a Fitbit Charge 3 before reading these three tips!
Tip #1 - Do you want Fitbit Pay?
If you want to be able to make payments from your wrist with your Fitbit Charge 3, you’ll need to buy a Fitbit Charge 3 Special Edition (at least in the United States).
Fitbit Charge 4 is now available and all Fitbit Charge 4 Colors come with the Fitbit Pay feature as well as built-in GPS. It’s likely a better buy unless you strongly prefer one of the Fitbit Charge 3 colors and don’t need built-in GPS.
Tip #2 - What band material do you prefer?
If you prefer a more breathable sport band or a lightweight woven band, I highly recommend buying one of the three Fitbit Charge 3 colors that initially comes with a sport band or woven band.
This is because it will come with both the small and large sizes of the better band material for a lower price than buying a single size of the same band material as an accessory.
If you’re a Costco member, you can get the best bang for your buck by buying one of their Fitbit Charge 3 bundles that comes with an extra sport band in addition to the classic band.
Tip #3 - What band color do you prefer?
If you love the Lavender woven band color, then your choice is easy: Buy the Lavender Woven Fitbit Charge 3 Special Edition.
This is because the Lavender Woven Band is an exclusive band. You can’t buy this band separately, after the fact. You either get it with your initial purchase of the Lavender Woven Fitbit Charge 3 Special Edition, or you don’t get it at all.
There are other woven band colors that you can purchase as an accessory, but you’ll pay $35 and you’ll have to choose between a small or large size.
So, if you like the Lavender color, I’d highly suggest buying the Lavender Woven Fitbit Charge 3 Special Edition. You’ll save $15 and get both sizes of an exclusive band color.
Also, if you like the Berry Sport Band, you could save some money by buying that color option (but note that you can buy the Berry Sport band as an accessory band, you’ll just have to pay $30 and choose a single size).
Tip #4 - Consider the case color
If you’re interested in getting additional accessory bands for your Fitbit Charge 3, you’ll want to make sure they will look good with the case color you have.
The Fitbit Charge 3 is available in two case colors: Graphite and Rose Gold.
I suggest checking out the available Fitbit Charge 3 Bands and making sure the ones you’re interested in will look good with the case color of your initial Fitbit Charge 3 purchase.
I’ve included links above that will take you to the best places to buy each of the five Fitbit Charge 3 colors.
I’ve also noted above which of the Fitbit Charge 3 colors are exclusive to certain retailers.
In general though, the retailers I’ve listed below are some of the most reputable places (in the United States) to buy a Fitbit Charge 3.
